Onandjokwe hospital cuts maternal mortality ratio ahead of SDG target

OMUTHIYA, 12 APR (NAMPA) – The Onandjokwe Intermediate Hospital has reduced its maternal mortality ratio from over 400 deaths per 100 000 live births in 1998 to just 70 per 100 000 live births in 2026, meeting the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) target three on health for 2030.
