German general stresses Balkans' importance for security in Europe

Sarajevo (dpa) - German Army Inspector Christian Freuding has stressed the importance of continued stability in the Balkans for security in Europe during a visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina. In comments published on Friday, the lieutenant general warned that tensions in the region could be exploited.
