Germany's DAX soars by nearly 5% as investors welcome Iran truce

Frankfurt (dpa) - The US-Iranian agreement on a two-week ceasefire brought enormous relief to investors worldwide on Wednesday, with energy prices falling after weeks of anxiety amid the conflict. Oil prices plummetted and share prices soared. Germany's benchmark index the DAX gained 5.06% on Wednesday, closing at 24,080.63 points in the biggest single-day gain in over three years.
