EU top diplomat Kaja Kallas Wednesday welcomed the two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran as a "step back from the brink" creating a "much-needed" window for diplomacy. The Pakistan-brokered truce "creates a much-needed chance to tone down threats, stop missiles, restart shipping, and create space for diplomacy towards a lasting agreement," Kallas wrote on X.
