WINDHOEK, 31 MAR (NAMPA) – The Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy on Tuesday ordered fuel wholesalers and retailers to immediately ‘stop withholding oil supplies in anticipation of capitalising on higher prices.’
Minister Modestus Amutse issued a directive Tuesday night stating that any practice where oil supply is withheld on 31 March 2026 and released on 01 April 2026 to maximise profit undermines fuel security.
