German sub builder TKMS to open first service centre in Singapore

Berlin (dpa) - Kiel-based submarine builder TKMS plans to open its first maintenance and service centre in the Pacific in Singapore, the company said on Tuesday. The German firm signed a letter of intent with local partner ST Engineering on the sidelines of a trip by German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius.
