Italy's state-controlled postal service is launching a 10.8-billion euro bid to take full control of telecom operator TIM, in which it already holds a majority stake, Poste Italiane said on Monday. Shares in TIM were up 4.5 percent by 0815 GMT on the Milan stock exchange, while Poste Italiane was down 5.8 percent at the start of trading.
