Germany's Pistorius rejects leadership debate after election losses

Tokyo (dpa) - Germany's Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has dismissed calls for a wholesale leadership shake-up of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) following recent state election defeats. Speaking to dpa in Tokyo, the first stop of his Asian tour, Pistorius said he had no ambitions for further office. He described the SPD's performance in Sunday's elections as poor and unexpected, but said it did not reflect the efforts of local campaign teams......
