S. Korea's tax revenue rises in January

SEOUL, March 12 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's tax revenue rose in January due to a growth in income and value-added taxes, government data showed Thursday. Tax revenue totaled 52.9 trillion won (about 35.73 billion U.S. dollars) in January, up 6.2 trillion won from a year earlier, according to the Ministry of Planning and Budget.
