Organisers in Germany are confident Berlin will be selected to host the start of the 2029 Tour de France. Speaking with AFP subsidiary SID on Wednesday, 'Grand Depart Allemagne' chairman Thomas Hofmann said he believed the Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO), who organise the Tour de France, would award the start of the race to the German capital.
