German troops safe after attacks on bases in Iraq and Jordan

Berlin (dpa) - Military bases in Iraq and Jordan that host German troops have come under attack following the escalation between the United States, Israel and Iran, Germany's armed forces said. Multinational facilities in Erbil in northern Iraq and al-Azraq in Jordan were targeted on Saturday and Sunday, the Operational Command in Berlin said in response to a query.
