Iran Launches Process to Elect New Supreme Leader – Foreign Minister

MOSCOW, March 1 (RIA Novosti) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced on Sunday the start of proceedings to elect a new supreme leader for the country. "There is a procedure set in our constitution that when we lose the supreme leader, there would be a new one elected by the assembly of experts. And now we have started the procedure," Araghchi said in an interview with ABC TV channel....
