MOSCOW, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- The U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran is a deliberate act of aggression and an escalation with predictably negative consequences for the entire region, a senior Russian lawmaker said on Saturday. The attack requires an immediate meeting of the United Nations Security Council, Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian State Duma, was quoted as saying by the TASS news agency.
