The EU is set Thursday to respond to a petition urging it to facilitate safe access to abortion for all European women, after the appeal gathered over one million signatures. Launched last year, the "My Voice, My Choice" campaign urged Brussels to help women from EU countries where abortion is not readily available to undergo the procedure elsewhere in the bloc.
