MOSCOW, February 25 (RIA Novosti) - Increasing defense spending to 5% of GDP required by NATO countries would hit Canada's economy, contrary to local authorities' claims about the benefits of such measures, the Financial Times newspaper reported on Wednesday, citing a parliamentary report.
