Australian iron ore miner Fortescue said Wednesday it raked in sharply higher half-year net profit from record shipments of the commodity. The company founded by billionaire Andrew Forrest said it delivered a record 100.2 million tonnes of the ore, of which Australia is the world's top exporter.
