Struggling Mallorca sacks coach Arrasate

MADRID, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- La Liga struggler Mallorca sacked coach Jagoba Arrasate on Monday, a day after a 2-0 defeat at Celta Vigo left the club in the relegation zone. Mallorca sit third from bottom with 24 points from 25 matches. Arrasate, the former Osasuna coach, was in his second season in charge and had a contract running until the end of June 2027.
