Family loses properties worth over N.dollars 500 000 to rain damage

WINDHOEK 23 FEB (NAMPA) – A family of seven whose home was extensively damaged by heavy rainfall here in Khomasdal over the weekend, has reported property losses estimated at more than N.dollars 500 000.
Speaking to Nampa on Monday, Karen Heita, who was at home when the incident occurred, said the family managed to secure important documents and some clothing, but most household items were destroyed by water.
