Italian power giant Enel said Monday it was boosting investment in renewables, with planned spending of 20 billion euros ($23.6 billion) by 2028 focused on Europe and the United States. The company said in a strategy plan that it wanted to invest a total of 53 billion euros between 2026 and 2028, around 10 billion euros more than under its previous 2023-2025 plan.
