Romania's Constitutional Court on Wednesday cleared a law gradually raising magistrates' retirement age and limiting their pensions, vindicating a key element in government efforts to cut public spending and reduce social inequalities. Liberal Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan came to office in June last year -- heading a broad coalition of disparate parties -- pledging to put the country's finances in order.
