American Khaleb McRae blasted to 44.52sec, a potential indoor 400m world record, at the Tyson Invitational in Arkansas on Friday. McRae, a world championships silver medalist last year in the 4x400m relay in Tokyo, ran faster on Friday in Fayetteville than the world record of compatriot Kerron Clement, who clocked 44.57, also in Fayetteville, in 2005.
