Child dies following fire in Berlin apartment building

Berlin (dpa) - A child has died following a fire in a high-rise apartment building in eastern Berlin, a fire brigade spokesman said late on Wednesday. The child, another child and a woman were found unconscious in a corridor near the affected apartment and had to be resuscitated. The condition of the other two remained unclear.
