Reigning NBA Most Valuable Player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has sustained an abdominal strain and will miss the NBA All-Star Game before being re-evaluated following the All-Star break, the Oklahoma City Thunder said Wednesday. The 27-year-old Canadian guard will not play for the World team in next week's All-Star tournament.
