A man in his 60s died in Portugal after being swept away by the current while attempting to cross an area flooded by Storm Leonardo, which has been battering the Iberian Peninsula, authorities said Wednesday. "A vehicle was found with one occupant, so there is one death," a spokesman for the national civil protection authority told AFP, adding that the incident took place near a dam in the municipality of Serpa, southeastern Portugal. tsc/sbk/jhb......
