3 killed in residential fire in central Japan

TOKYO, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Three people were found dead after a fire destroyed a two-story home in Nagano Prefecture, central Japan, early Saturday morning, Kyodo News reported, citing the police. An emergency call was made at around 5:35 a.m. local time to report the fire, and the blaze was extinguished about two and a half hours later.
