The World Food Programme could scale back the number of people its aid reaches in Nigeria by nearly 90 percent as donor countries slash budgets, a top official said on Friday. Even if the worst of the cuts are avoided, the United Nations' emergency food programme has already significantly cut back in Africa's most populous country in recent years.
