Mexico's economy grew 0.7 percent in 2025, its worst performance since the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, according to official figures released Friday, as persistent trade tensions with the United States take a toll. Annual GDP growth in Latin America's second-largest economy after Brazil was the lowest since the economy contracted by 8.5 percent in 2020, according to data from the national statistics institute INEGI. jla/nn/md/pbt ...
