Russian Coffee, Tea Imports From Japan Hit All-Time High in 2025 - Customs Data

MOSCOW, January 29 (RIA Novosti) - Russia imported record volumes of coffee and tea from Japan in 2025, the highest in the history of bilateral trade, according to Japanese customs data analyzed by RIA Novosti on Thursday. Coffee shipments to Russia rose by 1.5% to $2​​​.76 million that year, surpassing the 2024 record. Russian tea imports saw even stronger growth, up more than a third to a new high of $2.13 million.
