Hyundai Motor's operating profit logs double-digit fall in 2025 on U.S. tariff imposition

SEOUL, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's biggest automaker Hyundai Motor logged a double-digit fall in operating profit in 2025 due to the negative effect of the U.S. tariff imposition, the company said Thursday. The company's operating profit declined 19.5 percent to 11.47 trillion won (8.0 billion U.S. dollars) in 2025 compared to the previous year.
