WASHINGTON, January 28 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian Embassy in Ottawa maintains close contact with the family of deceased Great Patriotic War veteran Viktor Ulyanovich Khomenko, the diplomatic mission's press office told RIA Novosti on Tuesday. On January 24, the embassy announced the passing of the 107-year-old war veteran through its official social media platforms.
