A US agent enforcing President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown tried to enter Ecuador's consulate Tuesday in the flashpoint city of Minneapolis, the foreign ministry said. The government of President Daniel Noboa, a staunch ally of Trump, sent a note of protest to the US Embassy in Quito after a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent tried to enter the consulate but was kept out by staffers to protect Ecuadorans who were inside the dip......
