Freighter unable to manoeuvre off Germany's Borkum after fire

Hamburg (dpa) - A vehicle carrier is adrift off the German North Sea island of Borkum after a fire. Shortly after leaving the port of Emden near the Dutch border late on Monday, a fire broke out in the MS Thames Highway's engine room, Germany's Central Command for Maritime Emergencies (CCME) said early on Tuesday.
