Paris Opposes Kiev’s Possible Purchase of Storm Shadow Missiles Using EU Credit - Reports

MOSCOW, January 26 (RIA Novosti) - France opposes the mechanism that would simplify Ukraine's purchase of UK-made Storm Shadow cruise missiles using a 90-billion euro ($106 billion) EU loan, UK media reported on Monday. The bid was proposed by a coalition of 11 EU countries, the Telegraph newspaper reported. Paris, however, insists that the funds should be spent within the European Union, the report said​​​.
