Belarus defense ministry initiates readiness check in armed forces

MINSK, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- The Belarusian Defense Ministry has initiated a large-scale inspection of its armed forces on Monday, the BelTA news agency reported. The exercise is designed to test the full combat readiness of military units, from the call-up of reservists to the deployment of equipment and execution of combat missions, Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin said.
