NATO Secretary General Declares End of US Trusteeship Era Over European Security

MOSCOW, January 26 (RIA Novosti) - The era of the US trusteeship over European security has come to an end, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said on Monday. "The time when we [Europeans] conveniently let the United States carry much of the burden of our shared security is simply over.
