Norwegian prosecutors said Monday two people and a subsidiary of Norway-based oil group Petronor had been charged with paying millions of dollars in bribes to the Republic of Congo's president and his family. The bribes totalled around $25 million, the bulk of which was offered in 2016 to President Denis Sassou Nguesso and his family when an application for an offshore oil licence was submitted, prosecutor Marianne Djupesland told AFP.
