Two Norwegians and a Norway-based company have been charged with corruption for paying some $25 million in bribes to Congo's president and his family, prosecutors said Monday. The main bribe -- a share in an offshore oil licence -- was offered in 2016 to President Denis Sassou Nguesso and his family when the application was submitted, prosecutor Marianne Djupesland told AFP.
