Chief designer John Owen to leave Mercedes later this year

London (PA Media/dpa) - Mercedes have announced chief designer John Owen will leave the Formula One team later this year. Owen, 52, has been with the Brackley-based outfit since 2007, when it was then Honda, before going on to win the drivers' and constructors' titles as Brawn in 2009.
