Dundee, Scotland (PA Media/dpa) - A football fan who left his own team's player with a "severe injury" after throwing part of a seat during a Scottish Premiership football match was jailed for 18 months on Monday. David Gowans, 31, hurled the projectile on to the pitch following a league match between Aberdeen and Dundee United in Dundee on May 17.
