3 killed in head-on collision in northwestern Sri Lanka

COLOMBO, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed and several others injured in a head-on collision between a car and a van in Navadankulama in Sri Lanka's Northwestern province on Monday morning, police said. The victims included two women and one man who had been traveling in the car. Another injured passenger is being treated at a regional hospital, police said.
