Ukraine thanks Germany after deploying two new Patriot systems

Kiev (dpa) - Ukraine has received two more Patriot air defence systems to help fend off Russian attacks, the Defence Ministry said on Thursday, crediting Germany with facilitating the delivery. The systems have already been deployed to protect Ukrainian cities and key infrastructure, "thanks to recent agreements with the German government," Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
