Profits down 15% at Germany's top 100 companies as economy struggles

Stuttgart (dpa) - Germany's weak economic growth continued to cause serious problems for the country's leading listed companies in 2025, according to a study by consulting firm EY. The report, seen by dpa, said earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) for the 100 German companies with the highest turnover shrank to ?102 billion ($120 billion), down 15% on the previous year.
