Munich removes illegal ramp amid dispute over iconic surfing wave

Munich (dpa) - The Munich fire brigade has removed an illegal ramp installed in a river in the English Garden that temporarily brought back the park's iconic surfing wave. The Eisbach wave was closed to surfers in the southern German city when the stream underwent an annual cleaning process in October.
