Guangdong carbon market closes higher

GUANGZHOU, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) -- Carbon emissions allowances closed at 41.37 yuan (about 5.88 U.S. dollars) per tonne on Friday, 1.37 percent up from last transaction day at Guangzhou Emissions Exchange. A total of 100,316 tonnes of allowances were transacted on Friday with a turnover of 3.71 million yuan.
