South Korean Parliament Passes Bill to Combat 'Fake News' - Reports

MOSCOW, December 24 (RIA Novosti) - The South Korean parliament passed a bill on Wednesday, authored by the ruling Democratic Party, which seeks to eradicate fake news, the News1 news agency reported. As reported, 170 out of 177 lawmakers present voted in favor, 3 opposed and 4 abstained. Notably, members of the opposition People Power Party were not present for the vote​​​. They had attempted to block it over the past 24 hours through filibuster......
