5.7-magnitude quake hits waters near Philippines -- GFZ

BEIJING, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted waters near the Philippines at 1753 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
