WINDHOEK, 19 DEC (NAMPA) - The Bank of Namibia (BoN) has appointed Ebson Uanguta as its seventh Governor, effective 01 January 2026.
President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah confirmed the five-year appointment under Article 32(4)(b)(bb) of the Namibian Constitution and Section 19 of the Bank of Namibia Act, 2020.
In a statement issued on Friday, BoN said Uanguta has nearly 30 years of experience in economic policy and central banking.
