Olympic gold medallist Jefferson-Lee Joseph scored a try and was sent off as Perpignan beat Clermont 26-20 to win their first game of the French Top 14 season on Saturday. Joseph, 23, helped France to the title in Paris in 2024 and crossed after seven minutes and was sent for an early shower a quarter of an hour for the Catalans, who are bottom of the table.
