Germany transfers suspected war criminal to The Hague

Amsterdam (dpa) - Germany has transferred a suspected Libyan war criminal to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, the court announced on Monday. The defendant is accused of multiple crimes, including murder, torture and rape. According to the court, the man served in the leadership of Mitiga prison in Tripoli, where numerous detainees were allegedly abused between 2015 and 2020.
