Singapore to ban smartphones for secondary students during school hours from 2026

SINGAPORE, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- Starting January 2026, Singapore will prohibit secondary school students from using smartphones and smartwatches during the entire school day, expanding the current restriction that only applies during lesson time.
